We're getting married

May 5, 2018  /  Healdsburg, CA

Our Story

Stephen and I stumbled across each other online and met shortly thereafter in 2008. It has been an amazing decade that evolved from two separate households, to one blended household with young teens and animals, to a nearly empty nest. We have a life rich with wonderful family, friends, fulfilling work and fun travel. We have had so many meaningful times with all of you that now we are eager to share our special day. For those of you who have not met, we are delighted to keep the circle of love growing. Thanks for sharing this weekend of commitment to the next phase of our lives as a married couple.

Accomodations

WELCOME

Stephen and I are looking forward to celebrating with you! Here are a few recommendations for accommodations in the Healdsburg area. We suggest booking soon since hotels in this popular area book up as it gets closer to spring. FYI, most hotels in the area require a two night minimum on weekends.

_____

GEYSERVILLE INN

This is where we are staying.
To get a wine country experience, we recommend this small hotel surrounded by vineyards and only a two minute drive to the charming little town of Geyserville. It is right in the middle of wine country which makes for a great wine tasting launching point - and it's only 15 minutes drive time to the wedding venue.

The rates are just under $300 per night.
Please mention Paykos-Erickson wedding to get this rate.

BEST WESTERN DRY CREEK INN

For a reasonably priced stay, this hotel offers a mix of queen doubles and king singles. This hotel is located on the outskirts of Healdsburg and is about a 15 minute drive to the wedding venue. The rates are around $200 per night.

Activities

Here are a few suggestions for you

Winery Tours:

Reeve Wines

They have redone their tasting room and it is lovely overlooking acres of rolling vineyards. Great wine in a beautiful private setting up above Dry Creek.

Jordan Winery

A really lovely tour although it can be pricy depending on the tour. It’s directly across from Soda Rock on the hill in Alexander Valley.

Cast Wines

Beautiful views overlooking Dry Creek and great sparkling wine. No tours but fabulous place to taste wine.
